2024 Spring Offerings at Target

Studio McGee dropped their first 2024 spring offerings at Target.  And!  Because I’m still obsessed with their look, I hopped over there to take a peek and share what I found.

Dollar Spot

Before I headed to the back of the store where they keep McGee and Magnolia, I perused the Dollar Spot section.  They really do have such cute stuff I have absolutely no need to buy.

Their spring tea towels are two for $5 and are adorable.  Don’t you think that is the right price for something you immediately get stains on?  I mean the price of fancy schmancy tea towels these days?  Crazy!

The bamboo baggie organizer that is on every social media site has the Target rendition.  It’s $5 and looks like it would work okay in your kitchen drawer.  I mean the Amazon version is $22 so…..  In any case, I think the cardboard boxes they come in work fine in my drawer so I didn’t get either.

Studio McGee

Onward to my favorite part.  I have mentioned before that the Target closest to me is pretty ghetto, but the store looked really good.  Clean and organized.

I think that’s why I like this line so much is because it’s a clean and non-fussy look overall.

The new décor doesn’t scream SPRING but it looks fresh and modern.

Vases and Baskets

Honestly, can anyone own too many baskets?  No baskets ended up in my shopping cart but they are beautiful.  The latest look in pots and vases doesn’t really appeal to me, so I skipped those too.

There is one deep blue large planter that I really want, but I’m not quite ready to figure out how I would use it so I left it on the shelf.

Pillows

The pillows all looked so-so.  My hope is that when we get closer to actual spring, there will be more unique styles available.

Faux Stems, Wreaths, Trees

Stems and wreaths all looked really pretty for the price.

I have a couple McGee larger plants and trees, but the quality of the ones now are not up to par.

Art

Labeled as Travel Photo, this piece of art looks like a framed mat with a Polaroid photo taped to it.  It’s an original idea but I can’t imagine using it in my home.  What do you think?  I mean if I were going to do that, I’d just use a photo of a place I’d actually been to.

Now the pastel abstract is another story.  I love it!  Yes, it is pastel, but the colors are rich and warm.  It has perfect reviews online and I think I need to go back and get it.  Okay, we DID go back and get it.

Magnolia

The Magnolia stuff is pretty, but there is really nothing “springy” about it.  Kind of autumn vibes in my opinion.

Wrap Up

Thank you for taking a little New Year’s stroll around Target with me. I haven’t been to Target in a long time!

Do you have any resolutions or plans for the New Year?  I’m not that far ahead in my planning yet.  I’m still coming to terms with the fact that 2023 is over.

Have a good week!

  1. Hi Corine fun post, I never get to target. I’m a sucker for tea towels and you are correct about the immediate stains. (not me but my personal chef)
In searching for something last week I realized I have to do a major closet clean. And that is not even my clothing. Year is moving fast already. But delighted for 2024! Happy New Year !

    1. Happy new year and happy birthday today! Now I need to clean out my tea towel drawer; I’m getting quite a collection.
