Target’s Spring 2023 Home Décor

Both the Magnolia and Studio McGee released their new lines and BAM.  Immediately Target was sold out.  But some items were restocked and here is this week’s visit to Target highlighting their Spring 2023 Home Décor selections.

Home Organization

Target’s Brightroom organization line is really fantastic.  There are literally aisles and aisles of bins and baskets and tubs and totes.

I didn’t pick up anything on this trip, but everything looks well-made and coordinates with each other.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the New Year’s organization mode.

Magnolia

Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia line has evolved over the years and continues to produce some cute items.  These linen boxes almost made it home with me, but Hub and I thought they might be too big for my desktop.

Their mugs and kitchen items are adorable.

The line is no longer just a farmhouse look, but more of a rustic modern.

Very cute.

Studio McGee

Shea McGee’s line is gorgeous.  The furniture is really pretty and very on-trend (or so I think from looking at influencers 😉).  Having said that, the design is great, but the quality may not be so high.

Buying accent pieces is perfect, but I’m passing on furniture right now.

This leather-look box and cosmo vase are on my desk and the shade of sage green is beautiful with our living room rug.

McGee had a ton of lovely baskets to choose from, but I feel like they are a bit pricey.

Toys

I’m not in the toy-shopping mode, but their toy department is huge.  And!  It’s laid out beautifully.  It’s not crowded and messy.

But!  What took my breath away was the huge castle with changing screens advertising their offerings.  I could have stayed there a long while looking at that.

And.  Ummm, probably so could kids.  Dangerous, right?

Dollar Spot

I am such a sucker for the Dollar Spot.  I need to stay out of there.  For $3 each, I found the most adorable heart dish and a package of heart disposable cups with lids included.

Galentines is calling my name and I picked them up for some future event that is going to be fun and involve hot drinks for my gals.

Or I’ll just use the cups myself while walking to the gym these cold mornings.

What I’m Doing

This week has been a whirlwind of appointments and seeing dear friends.  Squeezing in a bit of time for walks in the perfect January weather has been one of the highlights.

We are enjoying highs in the 70s but we’ll soon be trading that in for some of the rain our neighbors to the west have been getting and temps will cool down.

Loving it now, though.

What I’m Reading

I’m still enjoying Stephen King’s Fairy Tale and should be able to give a good review on the next post.

On audio I finished The Fortune Teller by Gwendolyn Womack.  The narration is fantastic and the book is good overall, but there are two stories.   One taking place during current times and another stretching back through millennia.  Some of the back story could be cut way down and the book would move better.

But otherwise, it’s a good historical fiction coupled with a fast-paced thriller.  If you need a long book for your listening pleasure, pick this one up.

Wrap Up

Many blessings on your weekend and let me know how 2023 is going so far!
