Juicy, ripe apples are one of my fall favorites. Here is the gluten-free apple crisp I made. Already a simple recipe, and it would be easy to sub regular flour if gluten is not a concern in your house.
Apple crisp is easy to make, hard to mess up and can easily be adapted using substituted ingredients.

Of course, the sugar, cinnamon and baking apples will make your kitchen smell like heaven.
The apple peeler, slicer and corer turns prep into a quick and fun job. A side note, we used Honey Crisp apples which are pretty sweet. If you are using a tart apple, you might want to add a tad more sugar.

Of course, as always my kitchen looked like a small tornado had ripped through, but it was a good excuse to get out the mop. The Shark steam mop is still my regular go-to.
Most of my baking supplies are stored in the freezer so they keep longer. It’s best if I gather everything together prior to measuring and mixing.

Hub, who is gluten-free ate this every morning for breakfast (ala mode, of course) until it was gone. Hey, oatmeal is oatmeal in any form, right?
