Gluten-Free Apple Crisp

- 4-6 Apples, peeled and sliced
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Salt
Topping
- ⅓ cup Sugar I used Sugar in the Raw
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup
- ½ cup Butter, slightly melted
- ½ cup Almond Flour All purpose flour if gluten-free unnecessary
- 1 cup Gluten-Free Oatmeal Old fashioned oats if gluten-free unnecessary
Preheat oven to 350 °F and lightly grease an 8 x 8" baking dish.
In a bowl, combine topping ingredients to a crumble.
In a separate bowl, combine apples with the remaining filling ingredients.
Place apple filling in the baking dish and sprinkle with the topping.
Bake, covered, for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove cover and bake for 25-30 additional minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes. Delish served alone, with whipped cream or ice cream.
