Amazon Home Finds for the Bedroom

Shopping online can sometimes be risky, but it’s so handy, right?  I know not everyone likes big companies like Amazon and Walmart, but they have become increasingly easy to use and sort of perfect for a lazy person like myself.

Today I’m sharing some recent Amazon home finds for the bedroom that worked out well or that I really like.

Wow, I hope that title doesn’t attract people who think I’m going to get racy on this post! Really, this is rated G for all audiences!

Full disclosure, I am not an Amazon affiliate at this time, but I’m linking for convenience.

Bedroom Lamps

Our night table lamps were okay, but I found them YEARS ago at Home Goods and we really needed a refresh.  I didn’t just pitch the old ones, either.  I found a new home for them.  For however long that will last.  Things seem to move around my house frequently.

From Amazon, I found these Rustic Lamps.

They are white and my furniture is cream, but they still look really pretty.  They come with shades and bulbs! They are good sized and since we have big furniture and HIGH ceilings, they are not dwarfed in here.

I love that they are fancy and rustic all at once.

Reviews make a big difference in my purchasing decision and these get almost five stars.  I would certainly give them that.

Hub needed a lamp (not that his eyes are old, or anything) for a little assistance in the corner when assembling his puzzles.  Remember when I found this beautiful table to keep the puzzle activities out of the kitchen?  It’s worked great.

He found an LED desk lamp, which is the star of the Amazon show this week. Really.  It has so many settings, so bright, folds right up, light weight.  Recommend!

By the way, I haven’t had anything to do with putting this beautiful thing together. DF Barb gifted this to John for his birthday.

Table Cloths

Because of a naughty cat situation I cannot seem to solve, I keep a tablecloth on the kitchen table to prevent scratches on the top.  Many people work at their tables, so a cloth might protect from other activities as well.

So anyway, that’s how I ended up with a Kitchen tablecloth.

This isn’t a new purchase, but it’s held up well and gets used and laundered frequently.  The muted pattern and colors don’t scream, “Look at me!,” and detract from our other décor.

This isn’t the best picture, but I couldn’t resist getting Mandy into the picture. She’s the shy one and doesn’t get so much face time on here.

Because of another, similar naughty cat situation, we sometimes have puzzle pieces being used as hockey pucks and need to cover our puzzles when we’re not working on them.

Now, a sheet works just fine, but it does sort of detract from the other décor in our bedroom.  So I thought I would get a bit classy and order a tablecloth for our puzzle table.

While not technically called a Puzzle tablecloth, that’s its main purpose in life.  It’s very similar to the kitchen tablecloth and I love those tassels. That’s the classy part.

Wrap Up

Do you have any shopping plans this weekend?  Let me know any good finds you’ve scored lately.  I pray you are enjoying friends and family or getting in lots of restorative activities (such as naps).

Enjoy!
