Try a Fitness Video

Maybe bad weather has you stuck inside, but you’d still like to get a good workout done. Maybe your schedule is so crazy right now, a video is the only way you can squeeze in a fitness class. Do what I do, try a fitness video.

Today I’m going to share some of my top YouTube fitness gurus. If you have a favorite, please let me know and I’ll post yours too.

Cindy Kozacek

My DF Cindy is a fitness professional and great instructor. She posted several workouts on a YT channel during quarantine so her devotees could continue working out with her.

Her channel is geared to age 45+ and very comprehensive.

Jessica Smith

My sister turned me on to Jessica Smith several years ago and I’ve followed her since. Her workouts are sensible and doable. Especially lovable is her stance that she’d rather eat what she likes than have a 6-pack ab. Now we’re talking. Pass the baguette, please!

Christina Dorner

Step aerobics is still my very favorite cardio workout. Unfortunately, it’s a dinosaur and hard to find any live classes.

CDorner posts daily workouts and she has many, many step classes available. The workouts are fun and challenging and engaging. Most of them are a bit fast so I moderate the speed.

Otherwise if you’re looking for a good step workout, give her a watch.

Sydney Houdyshell

One of my favorite fitness instructors, Sollangy, recommended Sydney’s channel and I have subscribed to her. Sydney is pretty hardcore and lifts heavier weights than I can do, but she’s a good one.

She’s great for challenging yourself and she has a full-range of workouts available. She’s young and cutting edge.

A 40-minute holiday upper body workout is her latest post.

Wrap Up

Thanks for joining the December Fitness Challenge, and we’ll see you again tomorrow!
