Target never disappoints for cute seasonal items. After a quick trip through the store (and one online trip😉) I want to share my latest Target haul.
BTW, I am in no way an affiliate of Target, or any retailer for that matter, but I am linking items for your convenience. Just so you can take a peek or order if you find things as cute and as irresistible as I.
Coastal Shell Serving Platter
The crème de la crème of the summer haul is this platter. It may be the most beautiful thing I have right now. The only mystery is why it’s call a serving platter.
Because it looks exactly like a bowl to me. Every picture I’ve seen, including the one on Target’s site, shows it filled with ice and wine bottles.

Because it’s so large, it has room for ice AND at least two bottles of wine.
My latest venture is to fox up my bar area a bit and this shell is so perfect. And so beautiful. Really.

What do you think? I have no idea why this picture is so fuzzy. Maybe I had a special filter pressed. Let’s go with it’s artistic. Okay?
Can it be two years ago I shared the Kate Optic Coup Glasses? World Market still carries them and they are by far and away their loveliest offerings. However, I noticed on their site they have a Nick and Nora Coup glass.

I LOVE Nick and Nora, and their little sloshy ways are exactly what inspired me to get the glasses in the first place.
If you’re going to be a lush, do it panache! Am I right?
Tea Towels
Pitching tea towels is so hard for me. One reason is because I find it difficult to replace them with decent quality, the size I like and the texture for drying.
Anyway. Target’s Dollar Spot towels are usually so cute for the season. But once they’re gone, they’re gone and you have to snag them when you see them.
The latest ones I picked up are so nostalgic and adorable. They were maybe $5 for two and probably won’t last much longer than the summer.
But really? And after our Route 66 trip, everything reminds me of our special day.

If you needed an inexpensive hostess gift for a barbecue or pool party, these would be perfect! Look at that rickrack. Do you remember rickrack?
The Magnolia line has had some spectacular items this year. Everything is a winner.
So when I wandered back into Joanna Gaines’s area, I found more tea towels. Yes, more expensive, but not $30 each expensive. The quality is heavy duty, the colors beautiful and the edging is unexpected and so sweet.
As an added bonus, they are both reversible!

Citronella Candle
Also from Magnolia, are a number of different citronella candles. Ranging from a really large five-wick size, to this cute three-wick size.
They are all in similar ceramic bowls which are so pretty.

It seems like citronella candles are usually in something sort of kitschy or homely, but not these. And the scent is not overpowering at all.
This candle is indeed a hostess gift and I’m excited to be gifting it.

Wrap Up
Thanks for running to Target with me. It’s always way more fun when I am imagining you shopping with me.
Let me know if you’ve found some cute summer stuff you couldn’t live without.
Have a wonderful week ahead and God bless.
