Helpful Household Purchases

I don’t want to be dramatic like I so often see on social media.  “Game Changers”  “Mind Blowing”!  But I do want to share some helpful household purchases from Amazon that I highly recommend.

Most of these items I’ve shared previously, but I’m posting the most helpful things we’ve found in the past couple years in a nutshell.

Here we go in no particular order!

As a reminder, I will supply the Amazon links, but I am NOT an affiliate.

Placemats

These placemats are a very recent purchase and I just love them.  The creamy color, the petite size, the soft texture.  As I mentioned before, they give the appearance of a charger and just elevate the look of your tablescape.

George Foreman Grill

Okay, these grills have been on the market FOREVER.  But ours is newer to our home and we use it a lot.  Especially when the weather is such that we prefer not to grill on the patio.

In fact, we brag on ours so much, my sister Susie asked for one for Christmas.

Curtain Tape

Whoever the genius is that thought of putting this tape on top of a curtain rod so drapes slide easily should perhaps get a peace prize or Pulitzer or whatever they give to inventors.  If you have drapes anywhere in your home that you open and close, get this!

Robot

Our home is a cat home.  Always has been and most likely will be for a long time to come.  And those furry critters won’t let us shave them, so we vacuum frequently.

We’ve had many robot vacuums over the years, but this one is going strong and picks up lots of dirt, hair and dust.

Rubbermaid Food Storage

I don’t mean to beat you over the head with these containers, so you can see them in action here.  They are so good I couldn’t leave them off this post.

Battery Storage

I think you can get the Battery Daddy everywhere now.  It really is the best battery storage option I’ve had.  Oh, but when it’s full.  Or even half full?  It’s heavy.

Peel & Stick Baseboard

I’ve yet to share this with you, but we recently needed to replace a piece of baseboard in our laundry room.  It’s right behind the litter boxes and using the steam cleaner so often kind of rotted our baseboard.

I found this moulding trim for $18 and sure enough, easy peasy replacement job.

Molly’s Suds

Have you heard of Molly’s Suds Whitener?  It’s a safe, cruelty free, natural product created by a nurse.  You know I have a big ol’ soft spot for nurses, right?

I decided to give this small business a try and guess what?  It might be better than OxyClean.  I know!

My clothes come out stain free and smelling great.  Nothing harmful or perfumed.  This will be a repeat purchase.

Roxy approves too!

Organizing Bins

This bin package with silicon feet motivated me to spiff up my organization in the kitchen and vanity.  I have a little more to do, but these are quite nice.  And I’ll take any motivation I can get!

Wrap Up

So tell me.  Do you have any game changing purchases you can share with us?  I’m always scouting out home hacks, shortcuts and genius ideas.
