World Market Outdoor Furniture

Anyone else suffering from a bad case of spring fever?  Are you dreaming of lazy afternoons on the patio soaking up gentle warmth?

I know!  So am I.  That motivated me to pop into World Market this week and take a peek at their new outdoor furniture offerings.

And guess what?  They are all really expensive.  But compared to other stores, they are actually reasonable.  And they are quite stylish.

You might remember I got an end of season steal on a World Market loveseat a couple years ago and itā€™s held up great in our punishing summer weather.Ā  And itā€™s the most comfortable outdoor piece Iā€™ve ever had for curling up with a book.

We recently donated our large dining table and chairs and are on the hunt for something smaller.  Our challenge is that our patio is quite large, but the covered portion is pretty small.  And between July and October, we need to keep our outdoor furniture under cover.

In order to not be completely crowded, we need more petite furniture.  Leaving even powder-coated, heavy-duty furniture in the sun destroys the finish in one season.  Ask me how I know that  šŸ˜‰.

Because I am so happy with my WM loveseat, I thought I might check to see what they have for dining.  Their floor has a lot of outdoor options for lounging and Iā€™m sharing some of the pretty stuff today.

Lounging Furniture

Andorra Sectional is a modern style and includes six pieces for $2500 acacia wood and steel.

Atrani collection is a gorgeous acacia wood set sold separately.Ā  The chair is $400, loveseat $600, coffee table $250.

Cabrillo collection is another acacia wood set with rope arms.Ā  Itā€™s really unique.Ā  The chair is $450 and the loveseat $650.

Grace Bay collection eucalyptus wood set is so pretty.Ā  It has an almost wicker vibe.Ā  And the three-piece coffee table set is a great idea.Ā  The chairs are $400 each, loveseat $600, three nesting tables $400.

Larissa Three Piece acacia wood set includes two chairs and table for $300.Ā  These look similar to Adirondack chairs, but with the ability to actually get in and out of them without rolling on the ground.

Umbrella Tops

This is sort of random, but a couple of the large umbrellas on display were stunning.  Really.

Who ever heard of a macramĆ© umbrella?Ā  Itā€™s so pretty.Ā  The MacramĆ© umbrella (without frame and pole) is $150.Ā

And the large Bold Tropics umbrella for $99 looks sort of busy on the website but in person itā€™s just really pretty.

Dining

And finally, a dining set.Ā  I didnā€™t take pictures of the large dining sets because Iā€™m interested in something small.Ā  The Monterey dining set is eucalyptus wood and includes a small table and two nesting chairs for $600.Ā

The set is pretty and the perfect size for a party of two.  It really is pretty if you can get past the ultra creepy eye platter they are displaying on top.  I should have removed them before I took a pic.  Ugh.

Anyway, I am skeptical about how well the wood holds up in our climate, but my loveseat has been on the patio for a year and a half and still looks new.

I didnā€™t really think Iā€™d have to spend $600 on a small table and two chairs, butā€¦.

Wrap Up

Thank you for shopping with me at World Market.Ā

Their colorful garden stools and pillows and melamine tableware are all so cheerful.Ā

They will get you right in the mood for patio time.
