Shopping

Big Sales!

If you’re a shopper, you already know there are some big sales happening right now.  If you’re not a shopper, you might want a heads up on deals for restocking your essentials or considering a luxury item.

As a reminder, I am not an affiliate and do not receive any commission.  I am recommending items from my own experience and linking for your convenience.

Having that out of the way, grab a drink (like my cup o’ joe in my Fellow Carter mug) and let’s see what we might want!

Nordstrom

I used to love Nordstrom but the past couple years their sales have seemed underwhelming with tired merchandise.

This year feels a little better and their Anniversary Sale has begun.

Luckily for some of us with a penchant for comfy shoes, Nordstrom is hard to beat for shoe purchases.  Their free shipping and liberal returns make them a shoe go-to.

Trendy sneaks such as New Balance, the Gazelle (which is super-duper popular) and On Cloud are all on sale now.  They most likely will get sold out, but hopefully restocks are on their way.

This is a great time to stock up on tried and true essentials such as Bombas socks.  And an opportunity to try out something new.

Umm, like comfy undies.  These Chantelle briefs are not the sexiest things ever (sorry, gents!) but I have it on good authority that they are the most comfortable ever and stretch to fit every behind.

I stocked up on my favorite mascara while I was at it.

There are a few more things I’ll be hunting down, but that is what is on order for now.

Amazon

Amazon Prime Day starts next week.  I am no longer a Prime member, but a 30-day trial is free if you’re interested in any must-have items.

A lot of influencers are waiting for the latest and greatest Dyson vacuum because it is currently over $600.  I guess I’m really a cheapskate because I am not spending that.  Especially because I know how long those batteries last.

The other crazy expensive thing is Le Creuset Dutch ovens.  Since my acumen in the kitchen is questionable, I might not be the best to offer an opinion, but I have a real one and a knock-off.  And I cannot tell the difference.

Anyway, their current price is around $300 and there are those hoping for a good sale.

Walmart

A massive Black-Friday-like sale is going on at Walmart with deals like a 65” TV for $300 or the lowest prices ever offered on Apple products like MacBook Air ($650) and Airpods ($169).

And though we already have a countertop ice maker, this one for $170 advertises chewable ice.  Yes, please!

Here is a picture of ours which is very similar.

Target

Circle Week is Target’s answer to Prime Day.  Not only do they have some of their favorites on sale, they also include grocery items.  Like ice cream sandwiches.  Who doesn’t need to stock up on that?  They are showing Airpods for $130.  Not sure if it an apples to apples (pun intended!) comparison with Walmart’s price, but there you go.

I guess you can tell I’m not in the market for Airpods.

A gigantic set of my favorite Rubbermaid food storage containers is marked down $15 with Target Circle.

Wrap Up

This is not a super detailed list of what to get on sale, but just a little nudge in case you are ready to shop for fall or need a big purchase.

All that talk of shopping makes me more motivated to get in the garage and clean some stuff out.

But it’s so hot in there (said in a whining voice).

What’s up for your weekend?  Anything fun?

Whatever you are doing, thanks for taking time to read this.  God bless you and yours.
