Have you jumped on the Temu bandwagon? I took the plunge and placed a Temu bathroom order.
There were a couple things I wanted to try out for our bathroom and their prices are really low.
There are mixed reviews around ordering from Temu for various reasons, but I found a few things I wanted to try out at very good prices and here is my honest review.
Website
The website is very wonky and sometimes it won’t allow a search without signing up with an email and password. I really didn’t like that, but since I intended to place an order, I did it anyway.
There are lots of bells and whistles and games and coupons. It’s sort of like being in Vegas.
Shipping
The items I ordered came from two different California warehouses and took exactly one week to arrive. Free shipping for any size order.
Prices
Crazy cheap. Now, many prices are similar to anywhere else, but they have all these crazy knockoff items that are scary cheap.

What I Wanted for My Bathroom
What I really, really want is to hire an electrician to hard wire plugs in all of our closets so our less-than-pretty electronic accessories (like the electric foot file) can be charged and maintained off the countertops.
Why do builders not think of things like this? Well, to be honest when our house was built in 1999 not every single bathroom item needed a charge.
Power Strip
Well, I’m not hiring an electrician. But then. I saw these nifty surge protector power strips that will charge actual plugs or USB connections. Very compact in order to organize an area such as an office.
The one I saw on Amazon was around $35. I’m sure with shopping around I could find one for less.
Frankly, Amazon has gotten to be cumbersome to search for particular items because their “sponsored” items clog up the site and it becomes frustrating.
So, I ordered a $13 strip from Temu and it’s just a perfect size.
The smallish strip fits perfectly in my top bathroom drawer (which also gave me an excuse to tidy up the drawer 😉). Secured with a bit of Quake Hold! the cord that is on the counter is out of the way and almost invisible.
Charging my mirror, toothbrush, foot thingy, you name it! I can even plug in my phone to charge it while I’m listening to James Reece save the world and putting on my makeup.
By the way, not from Temu, but do you spy my new pill container? Seven days and separated out for AM and PM has been really helpful for me. I have never taken much medication, but I am temporarily on medication for my back and it was hard to remember when to take what. Problem solved!
Bath Mats
The rugs in front of our sinks have finished their tour of duty and have needed to be replaced for a long time now.
The ones I wanted are cushy mats from Pottery Barn and are $65 each. So, let me do some math here. That would be $130 for two mats plus tax and shipping (maybe shipping is free) to go on my bathroom floor.
Hmmm. But look as I may, I couldn’t find anything big enough or that I liked enough to completely dismiss the PB idea. Angst.
Well, why not check out Temu?
I found large (42 x 24) microfiber bath rugs for less than $20 each. With free shipping. What the heck.
And guess what? They are pretty and comfy and kitty approved for napping. The picture looks a little wonky because they came shipped in a vacuum-packed bag and they need to lay flat for a while. You can see how big they are.
Wrap Up
My overall rating for using Temu is maybe 3.5 stars out of 5. The site could be better and I don’t like signing up just to browse.
