Small Amazon Finds That Make Everyday Life Easier

Today I’m sharing a few recent Amazon purchases that are small, but pack a surprisingly big punch. None are particularly glamorous, but every single one has made daily routines just a little bit easier—which, in my book, is always worth it.

Bluetooth Keyboard

Apparently keyboards don’t last forever, because mine recently gave up the ghost and I needed a replacement.

I found this spiffy one for under $15, and it’s been such a pleasant surprise. It’s lighter and slimmer than my previous keyboard, and when attached magnetically to my iPad case, I barely notice the extra weight.

It even has a soft, multi-colored LED backlight, which makes it a little more fun to use.

But honestly, the best part? Taking it out of the box, turning it on, and having it work instantly—no instructions required. That alone feels like a small miracle these days.

For the price, it’s hard to beat.

✂️ KitchenAid Kitchen Shears

You know how some things wear out so slowly that you don’t realize how bad they’ve gotten until they completely fail?

That was us with our kitchen shears. At one point, they could barely cut open a bag of chips—which is really the bare minimum, isn’t it?

I finally replaced them with these KitchenAid shears for all of eight dollars, and what a difference. They glide through everything—herbs, packaging, even tougher items—with no effort at all.

Such a small upgrade, but one that makes you oddly happy every time you reach for them.

Five stars from me.

Rug Grippers

Back in December I shared a washable kitchen runner that has otherwise been a great find—soft, easy to clean, and quick to dry.

But…the corners wouldn’t stay down.

And because it’s lightweight, it was just a little too easy to catch a toe on it. Not ideal—especially when we’re all trying to avoid becoming a “fall risk,” right?

I tried rug tape first, but it left residue and didn’t hold up through washing.

These rug grippers, however, did the trick. Hub even cut them in half to better fit our runner, and they’ve held strong through multiple washes.

Sometimes it’s the simplest fix that makes the biggest difference.

Flip Flops (Project Cloud)

Flip flops might seem like a straightforward purchase—but not all flip flops are created equal.

Am I the last person to discover Project Cloud?

They make comfort-focused shoes in a wide range of styles, and I happened to catch these on sale for around $27.

They have memory foam, actual support, and a non-slip sole—which already puts them in a different category than your average pair.

So far, I’ve only worn them indoors because they feel more like slippers than sandals. But I have a feeling they’ll be making their way outside soon enough.

Definitely a brand I’ll be revisiting.

Shower Coasters

The official product name for these is…let’s just say, a bit much. So I’m calling them “shower coasters,” which feels much more reasonable.

These absorbent stone trays can be used in a variety of places—kitchen counters, vanities, under plants—but I picked them up specifically for our shower niche.

Even in a dry climate, water tends to sit on flat surfaces and create that slightly messy, soapy buildup.

These solve that problem beautifully. They absorb moisture quickly and dry within minutes, leaving everything looking clean and tidy.

A small detail, but one that makes the space feel more put together.

Wrap-Up

None of these purchases are flashy, but each one solved a small, nagging problem—and made everyday routines just a little smoother.

And those are often the best kinds of finds.

I’m not an Amazon affiliate, but I’ve linked everything for convenience in case something here might be useful to you as well.

Thank you so much for being here this weekend. As always, may God bless you and yours.
