Shop with Me

You’ve heard of personal shoppers.  As in setting up an appointment with a store employee to help you find perfect outfits.

But me?  I have a personal, personal shopper!  DF Evon has a hobby job working at J Crew Factory and gave me white glove service this week as we did some wardrobe refreshing for both hub and myself.

So come along and shop with me (and Evon) because the deals at J Crew Factory are really good.

And the employees are great!

Tops

If you love plaid for the holidays (or any other time of the year) the light-weight flannel plaid tops are so cute. 

Unfortunately the plaid pattern I liked best is no longer available in my size, so I didn’t get one.

But.  Yep, I added a tiny plaid detail in this Tartan Ruffle Pullover.  I already wore it out to an appointment and immediately got a compliment.  That’s when you know you have a winner.

The Metallic Dot Teddie Sweater has just enough bling for festive holiday events, but it’s neutral enough to wear all winter long.  It’s a light sweater, so I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it with the warm winter we are having.

Bottoms

I got three pairs of pants: jeans, cords and chinos. All three have a bit of stretch to them which is right up my alley.

The green chinos are a great color which is a little difficult to make out here. I had to order down a size, so they shipped it to me at no charge. I cuffed them up for an ankle length.

The black cords are nice and roomy and fit me like a dream. They are not a wide leg look, but they are not skinny jeans (thank Heavens!) and have lots of give. They are very flattering and comfy at the same time.

I may not be the best jeans model so I’ll spare you the full length view, but you can see the Vintage Classic jeans have a frayed cuff which is still so fashionable this year.

Shoes

Not from J Crew Factory, but this week my cyber Monday New Balance order arrived. These are considered my dress sneakers. Are they not the cutest?

Men’s

Hub got a new pair of jeans and a few new tops as well. I purchased large shirts for him which seemed big in the store, but they fit him perfectly.

Especially cute on the clearance rack was this martini shirt. Warning, it does need to be pressed after washing.

Wrap Up

Evon and I had a great day finding cute outfits at great prices. Her store didn’t have my size for two items, but they were shipped to me at no charge and arrived next day. Yay for good service!

I won’t need to shop again for the rest of the winter. Except for exercise shoes. No way am I wearing those New Balance to the gym.

Aren’t we lucky to live in an age where sneakers are the new stilettoes?

I’m not sure we really have weekend plans, but whatever they are, I intend to go in style.
