I have made some great budget home décor purchases recently and want to share them with you!
Last week I shared my budget arched cabinet, which I still love and now I’m going to share a couple new pieces styled on it. And in a couple other places too 😉.
Cordless Lamp
From the Magnolia line at Target I purchased this GORGEOUS brass fluted cordless lamp.
It’s so warm and cozy in this cabinet which is the look I am going for.

It has three brightness settings and lasts for several hours after charging.
Cordless lamps have become really popular, but most of the ones I’ve seen have very narrow bases and small shades.
This one is very substantial and IMHO is a dupe for the Crate and Barrel lamp which is more modern but similarly shaped. Oh, and C&B lamp is $225. Target’s is $30.
Ceramic Vase
From Walmart I purchased a Better Homes & Gardens three-handled vase. Which I found on Kendra’s site.
It’s petite at 10″ tall and looks nicer than it’s $22 price tag.

The size is perfect for a nook or cranny that needs a little something. Or in my case, looks pretty in my new cabinet.
It’s quite similar to Pottery Barn’s Joshua vase, but their 9.5″ size is $49.50.
Candles
Also from Walmart’s BH&G line, I bought three $5 candles that are fantastic. The fragrance is not overwhelming, but we’ve had one burning on the countertop several days and it’s still producing an aroma.

The ribbed glass jars don’t have funky labels on them and are just beautiful
These candles have almost perfect online reviews and I concur. I’m not a candle aficionado, but those who are compare these to much more expensive brands.
Washable Runner
Another of Kendra’s suggestions is an Amazon washable runner.
This runner came in a vacuum-sealed bag so the package was so small I was wondering how it could possibly be six feet long. Ha!

The color is a light neutral brown and is a little different than it looks in my picture.
This rug!
It’s the softest most beautiful rug ever. It is machine washable and has a skid-proof backing on it, so no need for the extra backing like Ruggable.
Oh. And the price? $27. Ruggable’s 7′ runners go for $200!

Wrap Up
Thank you for joining me as I show off my new budget home décor pieces. I’m still more in the purging stage rather than accumulation stage.
But sometimes it’s nice to spruce things up without paying an arm and a leg.
And I’m happy sharing these finds because they are that good!
