Sunshine Themed Party

I was fortunate enough to stumble across the set up for a sunshine themed party this week. It was so cute and the ladies who organized it did such a great job, I wanted to share.

Here is what they did.

Tablescape

The tablescape design was simple, but the bright yellow forsythia and napkins made a big impact.

The restaurant where the party was being held supplied tablecloths and bright yellow napkins. The ladies (who organized) added faux yellow forsythia and cute, happy little signs.

A bag of Sun Chips tied with a yellow ribbon sat at each place.

Favors

Wow! Really wow! Each seat had a backpack with a personal name tag on it. Not only was the lovely backpack a gift, there was a personalized gift in each one.

Prizes

There were two tables set up with various prizes such as little signs, sourdough bread loaves and baked goodies.

Photo Booth

The club has a photo booth camera screen dealyo. Yep, that is a technical term.

All right, you shamed me into looking up what it’s really called. I found a similar one on Amazon and it’s called Photo Booth Machine. So see, I was very close.

The ladies made a cute, sunny backdrop.

Oh, and here’s the back story as to how I came upon this party that I did not organize, pay for, nor invited to. I had a few minutes before my Pilates class so I went into the golf club to grab a cup o’ joe.

One of the lady golfers is a workout buddy of mine and she and her chums were setting up. I offered to take their pictures in their booth with one of their iPhones. I have no idea how to use the actual machine.

This party was for a ladies’ golfing group. They are always dressed to the nines and seem to have different parties every week.

You can see they had a picture-perfect day as they were on the course setting up their signs.

Wrap Up

I had exactly nothing to do with this party, but I was charmed by it and thought you might like some inspiration if you are planning a summer get together and want simple, yet cute ideas.

As for me, I did enjoy my coffee and a little patio time before my beloved Sollangy tortured me in Pilates.

Do you have big weekend plans? Watching the Kentucky Derby? Let us know what’s on the agenda this beautiful May weekend.

As always thank you for being here and God bless you and yours.
