It’s been a minute since we took a stroll through the aisles of Aldi—but we went this week, and I’m sharing a peek at everything we picked up.
In this week’s Aldi grocery haul, I picked up a mix of fresh produce and easy budget-friendly staples.

Fresh Produce Finds
Generally speaking, Aldi’s produce is good quality and very reasonably priced. I especially love the Driscoll’s berries and find them to be reliable no matter where I buy them.
In addition to my usual go-to items, I picked up a few things that felt a little more fun this time—beautiful artisan lettuce, poblano peppers, and a big bag of fresh ginger.

Breakfast
Occasionally my husband likes a glass of orange juice with breakfast, so we grabbed a bottle for him.
Other breakfast staples include fresh fruit and the protein bagels I’ve been hearing so much about (more on those below).
Quick Snack Ideas
A big bag of tortilla chips, along with jalapeños, poblanos, and limes, are all the makings of one of my favorite easy snacks.

John picked up a box of pretzel crackers—which he gave two thumbs up. The crackers are good enough as a standalone snack—no cheese necessary. An attractive and quick snack in case you want to share them with a friend.
Some small, crispy chocolate chip cookies for a little treat will be another cheat for him.
High Protein / Lower Carb Finds
As I mentioned, I had been hearing about the high protein bagels and wanted to give them a try.
I’m certainly no expert on what makes the perfect bagel, but anything toasted with cream cheese that can also be called “high protein” can’t be all bad… right?
They’re actually pretty good. Will I buy them again? The jury is still out.

Low carb tortillas have been a staple for me for quite some time. They’re not amazing, but they do the job—especially when I want to wrap up egg whites or turkey breast and keep things a little lighter on carbs.
I haven’t tried the protein pudding yet, but I’ll be sure to report back.
Fridge Restock
There’s something so satisfying about giving the fridge a quick wipe-down when it’s nearly empty and then filling it back up with fresh, healthy(ish) foods.

A Little Local Note
Shopping at Aldi is always budget-friendly, although it is a bit of a drive for us.
However—Deb told me today that a new Aldi is being built on Carefree Highway. For my fellow locals, that will be such a nice option!
Wrap Up
Thanks for joining me on this week’s grocery trip. I hope this gives you a little inspiration for stocking your fridge and pantry with foods that are both satisfying and simple to pull together.
And of course… don’t forget to treat yourself just a little too. All while saving a little money on groceries.
As always, have a wonderful spring weekend—and may God bless.
