Valentine Shop With Me

If you’re ready to celebrate the holiday of love, or if you just want to look at cute red and pink hearts, come along and Valentine shop with me!

I’m not sure that I really need any Valentine merch, but I did get out and see some adorable things I don’t need but want to share with you.

World Market

World Market has been a little disappointing lately. In fact, their shelves were about half empty, but it was fun seeing what they do have for Valentine’s day.

What I loved most was the heart door mat. We have an odd situation with our front door. Our security screen opens out and has no clearance. So unless a mat is completely thin, our door won’t open. So, mats are never a purchase for me.

But! Isn’t this cute?

And while this isn’t the greatest photo, this wreath may be what I use my $5 reward on. It’s so pretty.

TJ Max

Both World Market and TJ Max have heart shaped kitchenware. And they both have mini enamel cast iron heart-shaped baking dishes. Which look exactly like Le Creuset. And who doesn’t love that!

TJ Maxx has large heart-shaped dishes too!

Kirklands

We have not been in a Kirklands store in YEARS. They moved the one that was nearest to us, and we just don’t make it a point to find the new one.

But we happened to be out putzing around, saw one and decided to pop in. Let me just tell you, the smell when you walk into one of their stores is crazy!

They have every scent delivery available to man. Those sachet envelops, candles, diffusers. It absolutely cannot be healthy for their employees to be breathing that in all day. But I’m not with OSHA, so I just moved along.

Apparently, I am a fool for wreathes. And I know I’m a fool for tulips. So this tulip wreath is right up my alley!

AJ’s Fine Foods

If you’re an Arizona friend, you know that a trip to AJ’s grocery store is a treat all in itself. Their Valentine’s gift section did not disappoint.

If I had unlimited kitchen storage and entertained seven days a week, I would buy it all. The serving tray with cupcakes is indescribably cute. It’s cute without any real cupcakes on it!

All things charcuterie catches my eye. And the adorable heart shaped board is so cute.

If you’re hosting a galentine’s celebration, it would be perfect. I wonder if Target or Walmart have something similar.

AJ’s merchandising presentation makes looking more fun than purchasing.

Wrap Up

It might seem a little early to be shopping for Valentine’s, but number 1, time passes so quickly. Or at least it’s always getting away from me! And number 2, the cute stuff disappears never to be restocked.

What do you have on tap for the week ahead? January might seem like a downer after all the go go go of the holidays, but we celebrate a lot of birthdays and it’s even more fun than December.

And we just did a little Valentine’s shopping without even leaving the house.

I hope you’re staying warm and cozy and I’m sending love and blessings to you and yours!

  1. Hi Corine, we have the same problem with our storm door that opens out. Can’t ever put a mat out our door for people to wipe there feet on.🙃🤷‍♀️
