What a fun and busy week I had. Pour yourself a cup o’ something and join me as I show you what happened.
February is a busy month in the Phoenix area. There are really big events going on and the weather is iffy. In fact, it’s been cool, sweater weather but nothing to keep me indoors.
And although there are big events going on, I didn’t attend any. This is just a series of fun and wonderful things I did while spending time with dear friends.
Anthem Trails
I met friends Barb, Evon, Jenny and Deb various times over the week for walking and coffee and catching up.
Deb took the rose picture for me since I wasn’t tall enough to get a good angle. I’m not even kidding. The rose trees are on the grassy area of the Ironwood club.
Cindy, Sara, Evon and I met at a local coffee shop one morning. Sara treated us with yummies from Chompie’s deli and we had such a good time catching up.
Shira came by and dropped off a little bag of yummy Godiva chocolates for a galentine treat.
The week before last dear friend Connie and her out-of-town twin, Kate, dropped by on one of their walks and it was so lovely to see them.
Last minute easy gettogethers are the best. I’m blessed by living in a community with such wonderful friends.
Turf Paradise
If you’ve been following me a while, you know that our posse likes to make a field trip to Turf Paradise at least once a year to watch a few pony races.
Evon, Janis and John joined me for lunch and an afternoon of watching the magnificent horses do their thing.
I don’t care one thing about betting on horses. I love looking at them. Oh, and the people watching ain’t half bad either.

Galentine Event
One of the businesses we use hosted a galentine brunch and flower arranging class. Cindy and her sister-in-law Marcie were invited. Denisse met me there and the four of us had a lovely time chatting and making our masterpieces.

The Flower Garage supplied each of us with a ton of stunning flowers. And a lesson on arranging. The Vig supplied the brunch and patio.

The Flower Garage is a studio that conducts classes and events. If you’re looking for an upscale event, consider using them. Highly recommend!
Birthday Pedicures
After the flower arranging class, I met Wendy to celebrate her birthday at Evolve Salon for the most incredible pedicure ever!
Really! Evon has been using them for years, but since I rarely get pedis, it was all new to me.
If you’re interested you sit in a warm recliner with pillows, eye masks, noise cancelling headphones and soft music, while getting head, neck and leg massages.
I felt like a noodle when it was over.
Wendy and I left very happy and this is another highly recommend!

Anthem Health & Wellness Club
Deb’s meeting is noon on Wednesday, February 26th at the Anthem Civic Center.
As always, the meeting is no charge, but registration is appreciated.

Wrap Up
I hope your week was as fun as mine way. I really cannot do so many things every week!
Coming up this week, I want to talk a little bit about fitness and nutrition plans I have on the horizon.
I’d love to hear what plan you might be following that works for you.
God bless you and thanks for being here.
Looks like it’s been a very fun-filled February!
So happy to have seen you! XO
HI I love the flower arranging class with lunch combo. Much better than paint and sip and I am stuck with a painting I might not care for. We have had the winds and cold around here but hi 60’s will be here this weekend. We are all looking forward to that. xoxo
yahoo for spring! XO
I love the Flower arrangement class, what a fun girls event to do. My weeks are always full, so full sometimes I never have time to read your blog nor respond. Like when you talked about having your tree trimmed. We had to take one of our huge pine trees down and a huge Aspen tree and trimmed our huge oak trees last year. We have another tree that has to be taken down this spring. 🙄So expensive! Anyway, about being busy I am either, working on house projects such as doing a refresh remodel on our master bath, which has been a nightmare. Old house always as old electrical and plumbing. Lots of hiking, walking, lunches with friends, or HH with friends. And, I took up Pickleball. Going to an outdoor illuminated art festival tonight with Bob. Starting at our favorite wine bar first with a pizza. I will send pictures. As far as our year, Bob surprised me with concert tickets to Andrea Bocelli in June at the Charles Krug winery outdoors at Sunset. 👏👏👏Can’t wait. Then in July a vacation to the east coast, New England states and visit friends in NH. A friend I hope will be visiting us in August from Atlanta. I will call soon to catch you up more soon. I miss talking to you. Love you❤️
Thank you for the update and the pics!
