I know I’ve posted about Aldi before and you know I love their charcuterie section (who wouldn’t?) but today it’s all about Aldi organization products.
Hopefully you have access to an Aldi’s because you’re going to want to go there. These organization products have gone viral and I can see why.
The quality is great and the prices are unbelievable.
Drawer Organizers
The wooden drawer organizers are all over social media. They are large, sturdy and run about $10. I know!
The spice rack is nice, but I don’t store spices like that. I felt like the two tier drawer organizer might be nice for tight spaces.
There is an angled drawer with nice big slots.
I picked up an acrylic organizer for my travel drawer.
You can see what a mess the drawer was before. And that is after constant attention.
This super big and sturdy organizer was $10. It expands to even larger than I could use in my drawer.
After only 5 minutes, Voilà! I had a trash can full of old stuff and an organized drawer.
Shoe Storage
Shoe storage boxes are crazy expensive. Aldi had 2 for $10 and they are really roomy. I didn’t buy them for shoes.
I bought them for something else.
Which I’m not quite sure yet what that will be.
Ha! I really am of the mind set that I don’t need more organizational items, I need less stuff. But there you go. I couldn’t pass up the deal.
Honestly, I looked on Amazon and ONE organizer is $20. Tell me I did right by buying it, okay?
Wire Organizers
There were a number of different and handy looking wire organizers available. I don’t need any of those, but they looked like they were a nice size and I think the quality is solid.
Non-Organizational
In the same magic aisle I love to visit, I saw washable rugs for $20. The quality seems similar to other washable rugs I have purchased and the patterns were nice.
Not be be passed up was the cat warming blanket. Oh, man! This is the cutest blanket ever.
When John and I play games at the kitchen table, Roxy jumps up to join us and wants to loll all over the tiles.
I put this new blanket on the table and she conked out on it.
Kinsey woke up much later in the day and when she saw the blanket on the floor she carefully crept up on it, touched it with one paw and then ran away.
It was so funny. Apparently she thinks it’s a new cat.
Sourdough Correction
Last week I mentioned I made a new sourdough recipe and I linked the wrong recipe. Sorry!
The correct one is from the same site, but is called Simple Sourdough for Lazy People. It’s NOT the sandwich variety.
Wrap Up
We do not have an Aldi close to us, but whenever we go it’s frustrating because they are always out of stuff and an adventure finding what they do have.
Aldi shopping definitely needs an open mind.
What are you up to this first weekend in February? Done with winter? Me, too.
God bless you and yours and see you soon.
